Tuna is TWO!
We skimped out on her first birthday, so we decided to throw her a
little par-tay for the second one. She's been obsessed with Yo Gabba
Gabba since she was about 6 months so it was easy figuring out the
theme. My trip to Party City to nap some decor wasn't very fruitful. (The themed
decorations tend to look a little cheesy, no?) So I set out to make
most of the decorations and food myself.
Unfortunately, I don't have a whole lot of great photos but things turned out pretty great. We had a lot of wall to fill up because I'm lazy and haven't put up any wall art yet. We recycled the felt ball garlands from our Christmas tree for some wall decor; made 2 Yo Gabba Gabba (YGG) banners; and put up photos of Tuna to liven up our bare wall.
A party isn't a party with some hats, so I made YGG party hats sans Muno. (Couldn't find red party at the store.) Instead of a cake, I just baked cupcakes/muffins and made the YGG cake toppers. For drinks, I found these beautiful Italian sodas at Whole Foods for a very good price and it really prettied up the table.
Tuna dressed up as a modified Foofa and had the best party ever!
