Such pretty kitchens... Now that I've decided to embrace the retro kitchen theme, I'm excited to come up with a design plan and get working! I found a lot of great photos (Thanks Pinterest) and have an idea of the general color scheme and changes I want to make.
I'm loving the white, mint, yellow with the touches of red. I can't wait for the weather to get warmer so that we can get out cabinets painted!
See that
table on the left? I currently have a hand-me-down, hand-me-down dining room table in the kitchen that looks exactly like that. A little paint and I think it'll fit in nicely with the scheme. I may even try to find a couple of red stools to replicate the look. I also have an area where I think the Ikea Forhoja kitchen cart would be a perfect fit.
Next, some open shelving over the hand-me-down dining room table. I absolutely love the one on the
left - especially with the pot holding solution. Brilliant. I think the shelves can get expensive quick, so I'll have to do a little research to keep the cost at a minimum.
